ciao!

Travel has been in my blood since I was a child growing up in a rural tourism destination in great state of Wisconsin. With airline industry parents, I was privileged to travel around the world on a shoestring budget. After three years of a nomadic lifestyle, I planted my roots and currently call the great city of Chicago home.

I like to consider myself a travel aficionado and I thoroughly enjoy helping others see the world in a sustainable way. Along with my personal travel experience to 32 countries, I lived in la città eterna, Rome, Italy for three years working to immerse study abroad students into Italian and European culture. I currently work as a Custom Trip Development Manager for National Geographic Expeditions developing bespoke expeditions from 3 to 60+ days for clients to over 80 countries on 6 continents around the world. Most notably, I spearheaded the creation of a 10-day adventure to Sicily which is now a permanent National Geographic Private Expedition.

Using my professional and personal experience, I consulted the Destination Marketing Organization, Travel Belize, and the Belize Tourism Board in the summer of 2020 to design a user-friendly dashboard to help the destination measures KPIs affecting the tourism industry in Belize due to COVID-19. Additionally, I earned undergraduate degrees in Marketing and International Business from Loyola University Chicago's Quinlan School of Business and am working to obtain my Master of Tourism Administration and Master of Business Administration from The George Washington School of Business.

I am rarely found without my camera, and I swear by a healthy mixture of coffee & naps. I completed the Chicago Marathon twice, can often be found listening to true crime podcasts, and I love trying my hand at cooking homemade versions of international cuisines.

I am always available for consulting opportunities, collaborations, and networking. Want to know more? Let's get social. Read my ramblings on my blog.
